Fix for linear regression test and bug in network extraction #129

This PR fixes issue #128 and an issue with extract analytic for condition-specific edges.

@bentsherman. I've tested it and it seems to be working. I don't know if you want to do a functional test or just look over the code for style. But if you can review this it would be great.
