Residual light exists after switching profile in AlienFX Control #360

Describe the bug After changing profiles the residual light from the previous profile is not cleared unless the stuck keys are pressed.

To Reproduce

  1. Set a profile with starfield effect
  2. Set another profile with fill effect
  3. Start with starfield profile and switch to fill profile

Expected behavior I expect all keys to be refreshed and darkened (in fill profile) or lightened (in fade profile) but the residue of starfield effect is there until I press on those stuck keys, this happens with other effects as well. Refresh key does not work.

It's correct. For some reason, there is no cleanup at grid effect start/restart, so it continues from the current situation.

In case you don't like it, just set same zone to solid color at "Colors" tab, so profile switch will update this zone to it.
