3 years ago Zamblek Team feedback concerning this issue - their answer before they closed the ticket on their support forum without providing a solution or feedback themselves! Ticket ID 69549 - Features, Bugs, Requests, GDPR in Version 3.0 (9 Februar 2021) - Their answer was:
6- There is a blacklist feature when you can block IP or username or email providers
Problem in Sngine we should avoid/fix in NgineS!
"The Maximum number of accounts allowed to register per IP (0 for unlimited)" - https://.../admincp/settings/registration As most people might surf from dynamic IP ranges and no static IP this feature might causes problems if set to any number. Isn't there another way to restrict people from registering i.e. email Address, Names + Addresses, I saw the ID Card feature is there which is pretty good - Thanks! - Here it would be helpful if it would be possible to write a short explanation besides the image feature - i.e. that people should hold their passport in their hand, opened on the ID Page so that their image with the one in the passport can easily be matched and it can be made more sure that they are actually really holding the passport and no photoshop and some passport somewhere in the world and a person somewhere else but it is not the same person actually, which registers.
