https://.../admincp/forums/edit_forum/1 - There is no way to allow a forum only for certain members/groups. i.e. a Development Forum for the people involved in a specific Forum should not be accessible only assigned people. while a public Forum might be available for all users, another forum might be only suitable for adults older than 18 while again another should be appear for children 13 - 18. etc. As people will leave personal data and ideas in those forums it would be advices to have ways to restrict access to the forums.
For multilingual or multiregional sites it would perhaps also be necessary to have a way to restrict access to certain regions. simply to keep the structure of forums and groups much more consistent. i.e. A company provides support in Latin America in Spanish and Portugues and in all the world in English, German, French, while in South East Asia, Afrika and China in Chinese etc. A way to select and hide all forums which does not belong to a certain language, region or user-group would be helpful for users but also for admins and moderators. Another example would be an Administrator Group/Forum and Moderator Group/Forum and Developer Group or Article Writers / Seo Group - where specific problems for those people could be discussed. While all Admins content should only be accessible for admins , writers who get hired to write for the site in several threads should be able to see only the SEO and writers group and no need for them to access the moderator group. The Developer Group would be accessible only for Developers.
