Deep linking to a search result with a query (with or without field) does not populate search box #533

Describe the bug When sharing a link to a search result, the search box is not populated from the query search query.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to discovery view
  2. Type in search query
  3. Refresh Page

Expected behavior The search query and field should be updated to reflect the search field and query .

The URL query parameters might not be being processed at all.

To confirm or deny try copying the URL after refresh as described above into a new tab or window.
