Merch Advertising -- Lofi Sketch and Backend Plan

Once someone becomes a member, the "Become a Member" button disappears.

We can re-purpose this button for members, changing the description to "Check our Merch!" or something similar. This can then link to a page on flywire with the query parameters already set:

I had a quick discussion with Selvin about doing Merch on the app. He had an idea of using real life models on the app and displaying them. We would need to create a simple mangement tool (i.e. upload image + name) and could collaberate with PR to get models.

Would the models for X item (for example, a beanie) have a link directly to that item? Or would they all go to the Flywire with the search by organization (with SHPE as a parameter) already in it?

I was thinking all the items would go to the default SHPE Flywire store, since our main focus is just to advertise it.

It wouldn't be too difficult to add a direct link to each item and would be a better user experience. I believe the mangement side of this wouldn't be too bad since the store itself doesn't get update that often (i.e. rare for there to be new merch or removed merch).

I see, we could honestly do either one, but for the base implementation, it could be good to start off with the general Flywire link to all SHPE items to get feedback and see how people like it.
