Merits

(This system is already in NeoPop Mednafen, but the Mednafen developers themselves reported that the kernel is not accurately emulated, the most accurate kernel for this console is from ares, the port can be called AresPop. UPD: Ares core have good support for firmware BIOS)

If my memory serves me correctly. Near also pointed out the same thing in regards to WonderSwan as well which had better development in higan then later ares. I believe having both those portable systems will be a nice upgrade to what Hawk currently offers.

For this it's probably best to have something like nyma but for ares (ares64 being kind of a hack port in that regard)
