Freezing upon load state when there is lag in the game #10

Fix the "freezing upon load state" problem in Legend of Zelda, Bionic 
Commando, Guerilla War and some other games. (It seems to happen when 
there is lag in the game.)

This will CORRUPT the savestate as well.  And it may not be totally lag 
related.  As
it happens frequently when TASing Dragon Warrior 4.  Once a savestate is 
garbled,
loading any other savestate will also corrupt it.

This is bug can (and has) caused people to lose many hours of valuable work 
(Can you
tell I am bitter?).  I consider this a high priority.

Can you clarify how loading a savestate could cause it to get corrupted? Are 
you 
saying it craps on the disk file?

Try recording a movie file on dragon warrior 4 during fight sequences or 
guerilla
war.     Make lots of savestates and load those states.  The graphics will get 
all
garbled and the game will freeze.  Loading any other savestate will also cause 
it to
freeze as well (even thought it was a working savestate prior).  IIRC, the 
savestate
is then permanently garbled.  I wish I could explain it better than that.  
Perhaps I
should try to make an example?
