Compiling on non-Windows platforms has been broken since no one was maintaining
it anymore. Before anyone decides to make it working, I suggest trying Wine.

As of revision 398, VBA-rr compiles on Linux and this is fixed. It'll take a
while for users to have something similar to win32, however.

I have the same exact issue on Ubuntu 18.04 on both release 480-LRC4 and the latest revision (commit 4a43e95f9a83107dd821346ee80e6f0e128f437e) :
$ ./configure
configure: error: cannot find sources (src/AutoBuild.h) in . or ..
Has a recent version been verified to work on Linux ?
I have also gotten the same problem on Arch Linux, with the same error as @gus3000.
Edit: I found this: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/vba-rr-git/, an AUR build based on https://github.com/vba-rerecording/vba-rerecording.
