Have you tested this to work on MIUI?

I am sorry I was trying to built a custom build for myself in my own branch.

However the last commit

Did fix it. I used a build back in August from this commit and used the app where widget worked in miui 13 android 12.

However the current build after these commits into master failing to build.

If you could kindly make a test build with these commits from your branch then I would be happy to test right now and report back.
