1 month ago In Muzei you can find a new button (or context menu action if it doesn't fit on screen) that's called "Share image". You can then save the image using an app that can save files, like "Google Drive", "Total Commander" or the "Save" action if your phone has it. I don't think adding storage permission just to save to gallery is ok.
Wondering if there is a way to save the images to the device gallery, considering they are already cached
