The sound is cut off almost immediately after the creatures are activated. I assume that this has something to do with the creature being disabled, but I know that it did not occur in my original version of the script.
Playsound3D made the sound get cut off because when the object deletes there are no coordinates to play sounds from, swapped playsound3D with playsound
