This is an illustration of the Markdeep ability to construct diagrams
directly in Markdown, without requiring a separate image file. In
addition, the diagram is now easily and directly editable.
To actually implement this change, delete both the existing <img> tag and the now unused media/figure-606a.png file (though that may currently be in use for Gitbook hosting).
