That bit of english language text at the end definitely looks like a typo or cut/paste error. And my (very small) knowledge of Chinese verse suggests that rhyme is not an important feature either, so this encoding probably does need some explanation. This is one of several examples introduced by the Taiwanese translators, I think (judging from the bibliog entries) so might be worth tweeting @cwittern for explanation
@sydb and I, working on another issue, came across the rather strange Chinese rhyme example on line 115 of the rhyme.xml spec file. The
lg/@rhyme
attribute has a leading space, and in any case its non-space content, "ou", does not look like a rhyme-scheme matching the lines themselves; also, the final line has an English-language fragment for the content of its rhyme element. Someone familiar with Chinese poetry should look at this and determine whether it makes sense, and whether it represents recommended practice or not.
