There are a lot more inconsistencies in <desc> and <gloss> elements, but at least this fixes some of them.
Here I was mostly lowercasing initial letter or removing leading blank of French elements. Various other formatting tweaks and minor typo or spacing corrections along the way, none of which should affect validation.
