Map Loading Issues "File not found" and "Backup not found" #234

Hey I am fairly new to using this program. My issue is when I edit a world lately and try to load it I get "File not found" and "Backup not found" appear on screen. I have tried re-downloading the latest version of Tedit3 and that did not fix the problem. I have saved the world map as a new file and even those ones wouldn't load. Please help. I I haven't checked if it does with when I modify otherwise but the edits I am currently trying to do is edit chests with items

I did that but I am still getting "files not found" and when I click "load backup" which appeared it says backup not found. They load up in TEDIT but not terrarria. Btw I am using steam version

Are you using a filename other that worldX.wld? I think terraria will only load files named in that format e.g. world1.wld to world5.wld.

Nope the two files I am testing are world3.wld and world4.wld

Can you upload one of the nonworking worlds so I can check it out?

By chance are you using Terraria 1.1.1? TEdit 3 files are only compatible with 1.1.2, you can try TEdit 2 if you must have 1.1.1 support, though it won't be updated anymore.

oh yeah I am 1.1.1 but I dun need it. But bit suprising they worked before

How does one go about updating terrarria o.o

The steam client should update before you launch the game.
