Drop Illiterate trait.
It essentially prevents the character from most endgame content in exchange for some short-term benefits, which seems a dubious game design solution.
If one wants to play an illiterate character for roleplay purposes, he can choose to just walk away from books as a personal challenge without mechanical support.
