Rainmeter.ini file is not writable #163

Whenever I run rainmeter on my account it doesn't save anything so I tried it 
on an administrator account and the image below pops up. THat is most likely 
the reason I can't save anything so can you please help me fix this problem.

Apologies for the late response on this issue.
We will require more information concerning this matter.
What is your Operating system (i. Windows XP, Vista 7)?
What type of environment are you in (ie. Home, Work)?
what type of installation are you using (ie. Standard install or ZIP Version)?

There are any number of situations that may cause such an issue, but there is 
always the possibility that this maybe specific to your situation.

Let us know and we will make every attempt to get you through this.

Windows XP Home Proffesional 32 bit using standard install on an Administrator

I am having this problem too, i have windows 7, home, i click RAR download in 
deviant art, then when trying to open the files "rainmeter.ini file is not 
writable" sign pops up, same as the picture in last comment.

We have identified this issue in the latest Beta release, so I presume this is 
what you are using. 
We are planning a fix for this in the next few days
