This is probably never going to happen but we can always dream What is the suggestion Basically a separate window for IRC, can be toggled if you don't want it (either keep using [@ then your message] or use GUI and write in the chatbox) Why would this feature be useful So there's no chance of accidentally letting IRC messages in chat, and keeping chat separate from IRC Final checklist:

If this happens, there should be a setting for using a keybind and/or display in esc menu
