Their is an option for a reason, having it on by default is better since baritones default prefix is #
it would be confusing to new users why #
isn't working, and it might make them switch to another utility mod.
This makes inertia worse cause then it's harder to control baritone by default.
I disagree, Inertia has .b x, which is easy to use, .b goto 0 0, etc.
there's also # as a prefix, #mine diamond_ore and such
That is a good point, you might wanna add a disclaimer or something if you are going to change it tho. I didn't know that the .b command was a thing.
how else did you think it was controlled? wat
The user was talking about removing the # thing and that's how I controlled it.
I don't think they were, there is a setting, "chatcontrol" that uses ? or "mine" as baritone commands without the prefix
"prefixcontrol" is separate
or whatever it's called
yea I read the thing wrong, this would be a good addition cause it does confuse normal chat for baritone commands.
Minecraft Version(s) all
What is the suggestion Set the setting ChatControl in baritone to FALSE by default.
Why would this feature be useful This prevents a lot of confusion as baritone often mistakes generic chat for a command. Although this can be bypassed with .say, or running '.b ChatControl false', some people don't know how to do that and it can be annoying if you have to do it repeatedly. Saves them from asking in the discord or switching to another client.
