Could not initialize class org.eclipse.m2e.ui.internal.launch.MavenLaunchMainTab. after installing maven bw6 plugin in bw6.7 not able to deploy application #713

Description Mavenizing & Deploying BW6 Application a. Open the Studio. b. Import the REST basic sample project (tibco.bw.sample.binding.rest.Basic.zip) under "<>\bw\6.x\samples\AppSpace\binding\rest\Basic" path c. Right-click the application(.application) project. The Context Menu will show the option "Generate POM for Application". d. Clicking it will launch the POM Generation UI. e. Choose the “AppSpace” option from Deploy Options and Click Next f. Enter host, port, domain, app space, app node, app node HTTP port & profile. g. Right-click the parent(.parent) project. Under the Context choose Menu Run As -> Run Configuration h. Choose Maven Build Under the Wizard and create a new Configuration. i. Make sure you choose the Base directory as the parent directory(.parent) and enter “clean install” under Goals. Click Run. Refresh the Studio Project Explorer. A new directory called “target” will be created under the application project & EAR file will be generated under it.

after installing maven bw6 plugin using this steps https://tibtechtutorial.wordpress.com/2020/07/29/installing-maven-and-maven-plug-in-for-tibco-bw6-x/ and installed m2e plugin in tibco bw6 studio designer bw 6.7 got options to generate pom.xml and maven later i tried above steps to deploy. at the step h (Choose Maven Build Under the Wizard and create a new Configuration). When I selected run configuration->maven->new configuration, nothing happened.

(getting error message "Could not initialize class org.eclipse.m2e.ui.internal.launch.MavenLaunchMainTab."

Could please help me to resolve this issue please

Are you having any HF on top of BW 6.7.0? Also can you try Run as -> Maven build... option where you can provide "clean install" in Goal field. @vaishnavishan

I tried run as maven build but nothing happen. Even tried clean install as well. I don't have any hf in 6.7. But while clicking maven build it shows could not initalize class org. Eclipse. M2e. Ui. Internal. Launch. Mavenlaunch. Maintab.

Hi, Could you please provide update on this.

Recent error faced in designer: error resolving version for plugin' org.Apache. maven. Plugins:maven-resources-plugin' from the repositories (local C\users\id.m2\repository)
