updating spec from discussion #12

1) defined operation output to just contain "type" not "name 2) included datetime structure 3) added requirement that operations have a json definition to add with GUIs and IDEs 4) moved separate repo of spec demos into this repo

Sorry to keep adding commits to the PR, I keep seeing a few tweeks to make. This one fits with the last commit message of trying to get the boxdrop demo working
