I predict the biggest difficulty I will encounter during this course is completing work outside of class. As I'm typing this, I have a 2 month old crying in one ear and a 2 year old running around on the other. My wife is at work and trying to learn and juggle the needs of 2 small children is...challenging. Also the 2 year old is on a quest to destroy my new laptop. Another challenge is adjusting to MAC after using Windows exclusively for about 15 years.

I current plan is to do as much work as possible during the day and pawning off as much parental responsibility as possible at night. Also, I plan to just get the minimum amount of sleep. I've worked 3rd shift for years, so staying up all day to take care of a kid and up all night for work is something I'm used to.

I like working with HTML and CSS the most. It's not as complicated as I anticipated and there seems to be a LOT that can be done with it. I look forward to playing around with those.

The thing I like the least is the Command Line. Partly because I'm also still getting used to MAC. It seems like is MAC's version of Windows Command Prompt, but the commands are different. I completed the lesson, but I don't feel I really understand what I was doing aside from following instructions. It also didn't help that it took three times as long to complete due to the 2 month old crying every time I clicked "Next".
