2 years ago DDOS mitigation isn't something that's handled at the software level. Use cloud flare or one of the other DDOS mitigation providers.

2022/02/08 All Chinese Servers went down because of DDOS (SYN_FLOOD), I would be very grateful if you can add DDOS protection code
