Everyone should run at least one simulation, letting UT Austin Villa [1] play one half with no opponent and post their results until Tuesday. The most recent version from their website [2] is from Iran Open 2012. If someone stumbles upon one from 2013, make yourself heard. If you do not have a running simulation environment, you can use the server in our Lab (see post on ISIS-Forum).

Didn't seem to run properly, might be caused by missing enemies. All NAO running towards enemy goal at the same time. Sometimes they were beamed back into their half. But the result after one half was 3:0 (very long waiting times after a goal, cause no enemy there to kickoff.)
I will try it again later and might edit this post.
If you want to simulate that the opposing team made a kickoff of some sort you can just switch the gamemode back to game_on when its kick_off_left (b key in Roboviz). We should choose one method because I got a 6:0 in one half due to the lower downtime after a goal.
When I start start.sh
everything seems to be fine, but I get absolutely no feedback from simspark.
It seems like the agents don't connect to the server.
Anyone else the same problem. Or maybe I miss something totally obvious?
Ok, was too stupid to read the README ;)
I had 6:0 without another team
Did you see something in the readme that i didn't see? What is the complete command to start the team? Or maybe i am trying the wrong port? hmmm
./start.sh HOST (In this case HOST = localhost)
For some reason it also doesn't work for me, although I'm using './start.sh localhost'. It seems to run the agents 1 to 11 but simspark doesn't recognize anything. I can connect our agent using localhost though. Am I missing anything else like giving a port?
Got the same problem.
Strange, are u running the server on your PC or over the DAI-Labor-Server?
I'm running it on my PC.
Result after first half: 6:0.
maybe it has something to do with running on a 32 bit system?
when i started it on my pc the utav-players run away from ball, seems to be a good enemy
i tried to use the DAI-Labor-Server and connected a monitor (i think with the rigth host and port) and then i started the team with the host and port, but the robots failed to appear
couldn't make it work remotely, but they scored 8:0 on my slow notebook. i used:
> rcsoccersim3d
> start.sh localhost
result in the first half 5:0
Someone shall start some matches with UT Austin Villa and count their goals against a dead team / without another team, so we can measure our agent's quality.
