Base branch requires signed commits. Rebase merges cannot be automatically signed by GitHub

But I also cannot choose other merge options (or change repository configuration). Can you help me here?

I can either drop the requirement for signed commits or drop "Require linear history". Or you could rebase manually and sign it yourself.

I'd definitely prefer not having to go manual for every dependabot PR. 🙂 The easiest / least problematic option would then probably be to not require a linear history, though this is odd, both commit signing and linear history have always been required, or did anything change recently?
