The weak supervision of velocity doesn't explicitly supervise on this part in my opinion, as there is no clear mathematical evidence that it does. You have 3 attracting depth predictions in the readme where the holes are gone, but I don't think it means you solved it...
Ok this problem is addressed in "SEMANTICALLY-GUIDED REPRESENTATION LEARNING FOR SELF-SUPERVISED MONOCULAR DEPTH", I was only looking at "packnet", my bad.
