again i got a similar idea =D
because in my group of players, some get mad if they get killed early without being able to do something, so i thought why not make the first player to be killed a 'ghost' (or 'Phantom' ^^) and he has the opportunity to annoy or even kind of reveal his killer with subtle actions.
I really like the idea of the phantom being revived if the haunted player gets killed (maybe restrict this to a timeframe after the death of the phantom).
I like the idea of the phantom not being one specific player but the first killed innocent player!
Okay, so to address the trail left behind by the phantom's victim being a very strong strong effect, a change to make the trail only visible for detectives and non innocents (maybe to alarm your fellow traitors to let them know that you might need help soon) might be a possible solution.
Detective could call this out and since everyvody beleaves them it would be indentical to the first draft But I like the idea of it being only visible to other traitors
Okay, after running about it for a while I'd say the phantom should be a specific player, not the first killed player
