Doesn't seem untoward. The extension isn't so much "using" the proxy as it is just referencing it... As far as I can tell that extension is redirecting the Twitch stream you're viewing, so when it switches back, it checks to see if you were already previously using TTV-LOL and if you were, points you back to the proxy site.
