Disappearing surfaces with 1.4/1.5/1.6 Q3Map2 but not NetRadiant one #390

Here is what happens with a map of mine, every time, with any Q3Map2 distributions but the one bundled with NetRadiant: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3MYwh1vk-qE

I just run a basic BSP command from the menu.

I guess a diff. with NetRadiant source should help, but I prefer for now creating an issue here about it...

I think it's a vis issue. This has been happening for years. Sometimes it's just a chunk is missing and not disappears at certain angles like that. And considering the OP suggests it's 1.4/1.6/1.6 it's probably not related to recent checked in code?

So why does it happen without a VIS compilation? With it it's still there btw.

Oh hm maybe not strictly a vis issue. I think its about where the BSP gets chopped up in blocks.

This happens in NetRadiant too, but in case of really tiny portals.
