Ok.. noone seems to care BUT I have GREAT news "formyselfsAnyway" =D Problem solved. Unchecked that little pre_chading thingy steam had added and checked for me. So kind of them. Not a word ust a new wierd thing that they new I should LOVE. They knowed I already had faling inLOVE with cgamex86, qagamex86, awesomium_process, qzconfig, repconfig........ Ohhh sry Im getting away here again. Then I deleted all things on puter that started with "sh" and ended with "he".. No I didnt but deleted the steam_shader_cache map , AND now all things work flawelessly. Throw texture window on screen 2 Photoshop on screen 3 and and do snowangels with musepointer in 3dwiev in GTKR. LifeIsGoodSometimes.
This isnt my media so I say godbye now. Thanks for all hard work.
Now I shall do a map only my bots my mom and myself like and put up in "whoreshop"

The steam client may now be adding files with this sort of naming pattern to steam games files: steam_shader_cache/bucket_1147505.zip
These are shader caches for GL applications (Quakelive for instance).
The Steam client should probably not be dropping these files in the application's asset trees (it should be in an isolated location). It is likely Radiant is trying to load those and that's causing problems. So we should add something to identify and skip these.
Hi TTimo! Splendid move! When I formated whole harddisk with new OS New GTKR, new PK3s and Started with whole new new maps from scratch.. I couldent belive my eyes when its failed so hard again right from start. This explain the scenario.
Ok so I was hysteric lyrical yesterday... Like a 8 years old that have found his LEGO box again. But after approx a hour it started again. But im pretty sure it was because I work with old stuff on same install with all old references so Im not worried.

I am not getting the cached shaders with QuakeLive on my system (Win10 RX 480) - this is probably because not enough players use this combo of hardware and drivers on QL for the caching to kick in. If someone has this happening please let us know and help us testing a fix (better, send the .zip file you have, point us to where it is in your steam app tree).
I still have BIG problems with this and a fix should be awesome. Unfortnetly it kicks in hard on my nvidia . As already mention Im not a genius and didnt really understand your above instructions. It is not only in steamtree its in reg at nvidia references to If I understod this right? God nows where they put it elsewhere ! **s..... It can´t be right to of STEAM to crasch other ppls programs because one more stupid idea they got......On top of that. If you uncheck the cache and cleans up the mess on harddrive THEY force it all back next time you starts STEAM. Thats BIG humor! Can you upload the .zip file that Steam drops into your QuakeLive tree so we can grab it? And give us the full path of where it is in your installation. Should be pretty easy to put in a workaround.

Hi. Imyself and some other unlucky ppl has had big problems lately with isssiues upcoming over a night totaly from nowhere.
The problem is freezing Workwindow and programs stops completely with sizerelated problem and ends in a cascheerror. This problem you already knows about. I tryed for some days to get a solution but didnt solve it so I did the "new user trick" in win7 and it works well but is wery anoying that this ghost is unsolved.
I have no solution today either but when I installed some dedicated servers in mint I had to look in my own client baseq3 for first time in months I discovered a new map created approx around the date GTKR start malfunction. Maby / maby not this new invention have something to do with the related problem

Im not a genius in 1s and 0s and have not looked further in this coincidence. I dont even know if it was steam that generated this map. But it shouldent suprise me at all. As old DOOM1 Quake1 Quakeworld player I think STEAM has kidnapped, restricted and done some additional file add-ons that have done the greatest game ever made totally incomprehensible for consumerGamers like me. With NO enduserSupport on top of that. Luckely Yakumo (the living icon) is there to help. But sry this isnt relevant.
Today it is only a .zipfile -> bucket_1147505.zip If im not mixing things together the map looked different the other day.
