since hz -> st is no longer calculated when loading data, some function should call it. Possible solution: PitchtierReader calls hztost(), csvReader does not

Frequencies are by convention in semitones (as in VocalTractLab).

Future solution: Add option to switch between Hz and st unit in user interface. Default: st
