Describe the bug The calendar is not showing entries in future/past months

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour: notice the events on the 5th of august:

Expected behaviour The events should be shown

Additional context This behavior was introduced in #1600 Help in fixing this would be appreciated
