Text not accepted if same as Water mark text

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Have watermark text same as the text type during input
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
On blur or focus out, the text typed which is same as watermark text, is not 
retained and the typed text is blanked

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
latest on MacOSX
