modification of layout #10

I want to update the layout of the home page:

increase the size of the logo
add a banner somewhere with a list of activities we do, hiking, walking, skiing, etc...
rearrange the news

but I feel I on github there is only half of the website, isn't it? How can I modify the template?

@lfoppiano Those are excellent suggestions; we have to discuss them detailed in separate threads. Please allow me to take some more time to come to a solid decision.

OK, no problem. How should we proceed? Discuss with the committee first? I would first select and propose changes that are doable without much effort.
