Maybe it makes more sense to have a resource page per each unit? We need to decide how Moodle books work.~~ I figured out how to properly link content. Works fine now.

[ ] modify in Learning Activities section in Unit 1:
[ ] delete: FAR Centre Students: You will complete these activities each week prior to your Learning Lab meeting time (FAR Centres) and/or prior to completion of Graded Learning Activities (online and FAR Centres).
[ ] replace with: If your class has scheduled meeting times, you are encouraged to complete these activities each week prior to your class session and/or prior to completion of Graded Learning Activities.
[ ] change this section to: Graded Learning Activities (Graded) include activities such as Discussion Posts or Reflective Journals. You will also be asked to create visual models of your learning, complete interviews, and conduct a coaching conversation. The discussions in this course give you an opportunity to dive deeper into your thinking about the topics you have written about in your journal. Other learning activities will be completed each week and posted in Moodle for your instructor to review and assess.

@Jeff-TWU for graphics - could we add the alt text in a hover instead of below the image?

And - yikes! Our Assessment section needs some work. Can we hide what's there (don't delete in case instructors want it back). and show what a single point rubric would be?

Then in the book...student view is on the right.

However, students need to go hunt down the location of the link if they lose track of it. Maybe a 'Resources' section...as Jeff mentioned.

Since you asked about Rubrics @kmarjanovic ...

In grad courses, there are three primary categories of achievement (Mark may or may not agree):

A - Exemplary (90% +/- 5%)
B - Proficient (75% +/- 5%)
Revise and Resubmit (during the course) or Fail (at the end of a course)
- really, anything below 'A' is revise and resubmit during the course.

TWU faculty submit letters, not numbers, and there is some leeway for '+' and '-' grades.

I would suggest that extremely detailed rubrics, like the one in 500, provide an illusion of precision, while less precise rubrics, like SOLO or EMRN are more appropriate for grad studies, especially a discipline as subjective and complex as leadership.

The single point rubric @kmarjanovic shared does move towards a more realistic breakdown of achievement levels, but the bottom level should be 0-69% based on the TWU standard system. It is possible that in GLOBAL, the threshold for a B- is 80%.

I know some faculty want lots of detail in their rubrics, but I remain unconvinced of their utility or fairness...

Not sure this solves anything, but I need to go get my kiddo from school.

@kmarjanovic I can do alt text as a hover, however, you can't link to a source with alt text.. If linking to the source is important, it needs to be below. Let me know what you'd like.

I've also created a resources tab, with the same files. I'd like to link to these files in the books instead and remove them from the Units tab. I think having a resource tab makes more sense. Thoughts?
