The current website is a copy of the old website at http://texasbutterflies.org.

Has the owner of that property given explicit permission for unrestricted use of the assets like the logo and photos, and the content like the text?

The easiest and clearest way would be for them to explicitly license all of those works under a Creative Commons license.

One of the following would be ideal:

CC0
CC-BY
CC-BY-SA

The Creative Commons website also provides a guide to help choose between these.

The above options would require only small changes to the website. I would be happy to honor whichever license or permissions they choose to grant or retain.
