Identifying spirits with the sword of hisou #30

I know the sword is plenty powerful already but adding an ability to make it stronger by increasing the damage against the species of the last attacked enemy would be pretty cool.

Not sure how to do that though. Is there an already existing item in CDDA (or any mods for it) that does that? I could use that item as a reference on how to implement that.

I don't think there is an item like that other than martial arts that buffs your stuff every time you land a hit

Any idea which martial arts do that? Could take a look and see for inspiration.

The tiger style has an onhit buff that increases your damage and the wing chun style has one where it speeds you up. https://github.com/CleverRaven/Cataclysm-DDA/blob/master/data/json/martialarts.json

Though putting this as an item effect would be pretty weird

Not sure how overpowered this would make the sword of hisou, but this seems interesting.
