Snowflake Okta connection not working #2597

Please answer the questions below, it helps us to keep track of the issue. Please do not ignore it or your issue will be closed.

  1. Which driver are you using and version of it (Ex: PostgreSQL 10.0): Snowflake

  2. Which TablePlus build number are you using (the number on the welcome screen, Ex: build 81): 402

  3. The steps to reproduce this issue: Connect to snowflake using Okta Step1: Enter values in snowflake account, authenticator field as https://companyname.okta.com Step2: Click on test shows a prompt with Error and Ok button

Noted: If the bug is related to data, please attach an example SQL data.

I'm experiencing this too. The complete lack of error messages from the Snowflake driver is highly frustrating compared to MySQL, Postgres and other "normal" DBMSs that TablePLus supports.

Hi @xeger currently the native lib does not support authenticator, I'm sorry for the confused UI. We should have disabled it as it does not support yet :(

Is the Snowflake Okta connection still not supported?

Would very much love to have Okta support in TablePlus for connecting to Snowflake! Working well w/ DataGrip but prefer TablePlus!
