[TE 3.2.0] - Becomes unresponsive after re-arranging UI windows with drag-and-drop

Hi,

With the new 3.2.0 version, I experience intermittently an issue where the application becomes unresponsive after rearranging window elements using drag & drop. I don't receive an error message and the application doesn't become response again after waiting; I kill it using task mgr.

The penetrance of the issue is not 100% and difficult to find reliable reproduction criteria. So far I have observed this for: - Debugger windows: Rearranging from default to middle-right (with Expression Editor)

- Messages: Rearranging from default to bottom-right (with properties)

Thanks for reporting. Any chance you could provide a gif/video recording of the type of rearrangement that (might) trigger the freeze?

Thanks for sharing the video. Unfortunately, I still haven't been able to reproduce this - even when trying the exact same operations as you did in the video. If you manage to find a series of operations that consistently reproduce the application hang, please let us know! In the mean time, we have submitted a support ticket with our UI vendor.

Thanks @koltachin - I managed to reproduce the issue shown in your recording. As a workaround, until we get this fixed, instead of dragging the window that contains both the Evaluation Context and Call Tree at once, drag them one by one, by dragging the tabs instead of the title bar:

I'm no longer experiencing the freezing when moving the 4 new 'debug' windows, nor other windows. 😀
