Tabluar Editor 3 Crashing quite often #396

Hello Community members,

I am using Tabular Editor 3 Desktop Edition and connected to a Power BI Desktop file. This is my first time using the editor, and in past 10 minutes it has crashed 3 times while I am trying to create calculation groups. I am not getting any error.

Please advise.

Hi Vivek

Are you able to consistently reproduce this (i.e. does it crash every time you perform a specific action)?

If so, are you able to provide more detailed reproduction steps for the issue?

Hello @dybzon ,

Thank you for your response.

There is no specific trend/step on which this is occurring. The only thing common is if I click on a measure (nothing specific as such. Yesterday it was a different measure, and today it crashed for a different measure) from TOM explorer, it thinks for a while and then it crashes.

I do not get any error message.

Hi Vivek,

Could you take a look in the Windows Event Viewer to see if there are any .NET Runtime errors around the time of the crash? If so, please share their contents here. Also, if it is possible for you to share a .pbit (Power BI Template) of the file you’re working on with me: daniel@tabulareditor.com that would be really helpful, thanks!
