Both manual and automatic testing needs to be done of the websockets.

This is a subtask of #284 - Websockets

This task is partially superseded by #355 in sprint 7.

The manual testing has been performed by @Taeir in sprint 7, part of PR #409, and has further been tested in practice during the playtest session on 10/06/2016.
