Some tracks are greyed out and can no longer be played #905

I noticed that some tracks got greyed out recently, which somehow means that they can't be played (not found?). But I used to play them in the past.

They play nice with other apps and when I remove them from the music folder and do a rescan they come back but still disabled.

I tried downgrading using flatpak for further investigation, but it didn't work.

Try play them and they should un-grey and play. If it still doesn't play, try right click -> track info, and double check the file path under "Path" looks correct.

It didn't work, they just get skipped to the next song

I double checked, and just found what seems to be the problem : path contains a backslash instead of a normal one (only the last slash is affected). I don't know what caused it, neither how to fix it myself though

That's interesting, though I believe it should still work even with a backslash introduced. Would be good if we could figure out steps to reproduce it.

Otherwise in the mean time, you might need to reset the player. See Partial Reset. If you don't like the idea of losing playlists, let me know and we can try figure something else out.

All non working tracks show a backslash in the path, so it seems to have be somehow linked with the bug.

I'll let you know if I find what's causing paths to change. However I won't reset as I don't want to lose all those playlists.
