Out of date #48

Hey, I must say I love your work. I used this plugin a lot several years ago and had a lot of fun playing it. I just said I would check and see if there is any hope at updating the plugin for a newer version of the game?

Or if you have any suggestions/tips on how I could go about updating the plugin. I have a basic enough knowledge of Java and just really want to play in a newer version with this plugin.

Heya, thank you for your message! :)

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the plugin back in the day and have personally felt bad with it ending up abandoned due to life getting in the way. As such, I think reviving it for modern Minecraft just for the fun of it would be a great project!

The main problem right now is that the plugin was written as my very first venture into programming back in the day, so the code is just much too convoluted and of very poor quality, so it will require a total rewrite instead of a version update.

Luckily, there isn't all too much work that would go into that and I have a new team member that would like a practice project to help out on, so I'll make sure that in the next few weeks the project will see some new activity :)
