I believe that we will have to double points, but we have to rebalance in a way to keep game length the same. Would recommend a new thread on victory points win threshold. I think 8 be the right number

  So, thematically... Why would a monster have two trophies?

1+2+3+Attribute trophy wins game+Plus a Varient trophy

So you would still get a single trophy from each defeated monster, but you'd get a different amount of "victory points" depending on the level of the monster (or witcher? :) ) you defeated

Okay, I think I get it. Each Trophy level is basically bronze, silver, and gold.

Yea, or keep the existing trophy track but gaining a trophy of the same monster level you already have (e.g. Killing a 2nd level 1 monster) doesn't advance you on the trophy track.
