Alright. Please tweak the colours so it looks less cluttered.

As it is right now everything has colours in the same range/hue. Everything is bright and blue.

What I did in my edit:

While, yes the map is important, we arent using the tool to look at the map or learn the map or whatever. Make what is important stand out. Which in this case the path that the player took. The reason I changed the red icon to a white is simple because there are a bunch of red save squares on the map, its just to lower the visual noice. The player icon literally being the brightest thing in the tool will also naturally grab the viewers attention.

This looks a bit harsh to my eyes for some reason, but I will edit things in that direction. I just got the assets directly from my Pathfinding project to start. I'll see what I can do with the player indicator. I like having a color since it would allow me to incorporate multiple players in the future and having a distinct unique outline can make it pop enough.

I've darkened the map, reduced special room saturation and changed the player and trace colors. Not 100% happy with it yet, but will continue to experiment. I also set the media playback buttons to SVG to avoid the mismatch between browsers.

Not sure if it is possible to change the line width dynamically, but you could try to make it so that when paths overlap the line width decreases. If this is not possible a simple offset will work fine.

Also changed the player markers so it shows which player it is.

Have also changed the colours a bit more (made it a bit closer to the overall colours of the sotn rando tools/tracker/khaos, etc.)

Changed the map and player color scheme, included path offset.
