Search results include matches in very old data

If I select some sources and carry out a search, some of what I see doesn't make sense - the latest match is outside of my search criteria, and when I look through the full set of results for a particular lead I find that it only matched because of something a very long time ago. That might be useful when I'm investigating, but not in a weekly newsroom context.

We should look at solutions to this.

The idea that we've discussed so far are showing the date of the most recent match that does match the search criteria. It would be ideal if we could show (and order by) that match, but that may not be practicable.

It's ok for this to be just a 'from' date - we don't think there's a requirement for this to exclude newer results than a certain date

It's ok for this to either be a date picker or a week/month/3 months/year/2015/2014 selector
