Kaptchar Image Loading Time #40

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Kaptcha image is loading is taking 12 secs to load in Unix Box 
2. Users are not happy with this.
3. Any idea to fix this issue?

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Image should load in 2 secs.
Any solution to fix this.

Image loads instantly for me.

Since I can't guess at your setup and I'm not a mind reader. Help me out a bit. 
What OS, JVM version, memory, 
etc. do you have?

OS is Solaris 8, JVM is Sun 1.4.2_13, AppServer is Weblogic 8.1, Memory is 
1024MB. 
FYI - The Kaptcha image renders fast when tested on Windows with Sun JVM 
1.6.0_06 
using Apache Tomcat. Please let us know of any other information we can provide 
you 
as we really need to get this working well in our production environment.

Well, then clearly it has something to do with the fact that you are running 
two different JVM's, now doesn't it?
