What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. While subscribed to 19 feeds select update all. I have tried with with
sync to Google reader both on and off. Net connection is over wi-fi.
2. Wait for ~5 minutes for all feeds to update.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I have used other RSS readers that were much faster at updates (~30
seconds).

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
prssr 1.4.3 on Windows Mobile 6.1
AT&T Tilt

Please provide any additional information below.
I have been trying to find an rss reader that works well for me. prssr
looks very promising.

Can you submit your list of subscriptions (in form of the OPML file - export it
in
the site manager) here, so I can try it on my device?

Also, how was your caching and archiving options set?

I turned off the setting to "Cache articles for offline reading." That helped
some. It still takes a couple minutes to Sync, but it seems more reasonable
now.

I did some measurements and I'm pretty much able to update 8 feeds in 16
seconds over
the wi-fi connection. Further from the AP the longer I have to wait, because of
the
signal quality (not a prssr's problem). I'm doing only the update, no caching of
images/html pages/enclosures at all. Of course if one starts to update
images/html/enclosures, the time is longer, especially at the initial pull of
data.
Then prssr is caching only new items.

I have the same problem with the HTC Touch (Vogue) on Sprint. Each feed
displays
"Synching..." for ~15 seconds, requiring several minutes to do a full update.

I've just tried toggling "Automatically Connect", "Use built-in connection
manager",
and turning off "cache images" and "cache articles" to no effect (still 15 sec
per
feed).
