Use Today Screen Plugin can't be cancelled #135

What steps will reproduce the problem?
When you install and get the option to use the today screen plugin if you 
select No it is still enabled many times.  This does not happen every time but 
quite often.   You have to go to the settings > today > Items and 
uncheck it for it to go away.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
No today plugin. A today plugin

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.4.4 on WM 6.1 running on a Fuze
